Well, we got the phone call. We are going to move on the 19th! We are thrilled. It's another apartment, but it's brand new.
We'll have a washer and dryer (full sized) in the unit. It's about 1250 sq feet. 2 bed, 2 bath. Much bigger, and much nicer then where we are now. And there is plenty of parking, so it will be much easier to have people over. There is also a pool that's heated year round, hot tub, and gym. So we were able to cancel our current gym membership.
So if you are available on the 19th... let us know. (It's a Friday)

Name in the sand... and an update.
So at the bottom of this post is one of the pictures I took in the sand at Bodega Bay. Like I mentioned in the last post, I was supposed to be watching all Mac's cool kite tricks, so I must admit that these are not the most artist shots I have ever taken. But I wasn't really suppose to be doing it :) . I am a rebel I guess.
We are doing well. I officially moved into my office at the church. Decoration is still being worked on. I got to paint it, and if anyone saw my beloved "otter tail" room at the Newlin house, that is pretty much the same color that I painted. :) It's peaceful.
McKenzie is on his very last week of training. That is lovely. But it's swing shift for this week, which is not my fav. But from next week - December, he will be on day shift with Friday and Saturday off. You would think I would be better with swing shift, since my dad worked shift work my whole life, but I think knowing we will get day shift soon, makes swings stinky. And.... even when my dad worked it, we didn't like it.
Other then that we are good. My job is busy. Changing things around, because we are outgrowing where we are. Can be overwhelming, but mostly I am good. God is good.
We are waiting to move. We HOPE we will get our phone call soon that the new apartment is ready. HOPEFULLY we can move by the 20th, but at least by the first. We'll let you know.
Ok.... time to do dishes. Looks like I might as well stay up till Mac gets home... just 45ish more minutes... and John and Kate plus 8 is on all night. So I will be fine.

Couple of Pics from Bodega Bay Birthday Trip
Here are a few pictures from our trip... I know it took me long enough to upload them.
Here is a silly shot... we were suppose to look like "don't mess with us" but I wanted to stick my tongue out.
We were shooting in bad lighting... but I thought this was kind of a cool shot. The wind was blowing like crazy, so I can excuse my bad hair day, and pretend it doesn't always look like that. :)
It was so windy that we decided to buy a kite, which was a way fun way to spend an afternoon. McKenzie was a much more skilled kite flyer then I was. So here it is in the air. Cool huh?
My peace. Don't you just love the ocean. I could watch it for hours. Although, I was suppose to be watching all the tricks McKenzie was doing with the kite. I tried to explain to him that I had to watch the ocean to make sure it didn't get us. :) He didn't buy it.
Kite flying day. Hats were needed... it was so windy!
